~Michael Kelly~

All it takes are a few seconds for your whole world to change.

One moment you are worrying about the economics homework you have to finish
and the next you are a faced with a reality that leaves you shaken, confused, scared.

How can this be happening?
I just saw him last week.
Short joke coming your way.
Sass right back at you friend.
I can't even imagine him in that room fighting for his life.
First generation college student.
Making his dreams come true.
Full of love for family and friends.
My newsfeed blowing up with pictures of his nephews.
Cutest captions ever. Studs.
That's what he called them.
 Laker and Niner fan.
Loyal by nature.
On the court a baller and playmaker.
Set me up with a few assists. Always helped a shorty out.
Class time never dull with this guy.
Elrod's lead class and Saxton's public health class memorable because of him.
Orientation. I had a hard time, but this guy was my buddy.
Cross paths on the way to class. If I wasn't smiling before, I was now.
Come on bud, you have to it make it through.
I believe in you.

When I started this blog, it was to let people in my mind.
I write about things in my life that are important.
That are real.
This right here is important.
It is real even if I don't want it to be.
Life changes in a matter of seconds, but it doesn't mean we lose hope.
Where hope ends, faith begins.
Prayer is a powerful thing.
So please keep my friend and many people's reason to smile, Michael Kelly, in your prayers.
